Appeal to praying a rosary every day
I would ask that you consider joining me in praying a rosary every day. As I pray the 5 mysteries for the day, my intention for each morning will be the following:
1) For all infected by the Corona virus and they who have died and their families; all medical personnel everywhere: nurses, aides, doctors, med techs, orderlies, maintenance staff in hospitals, emergency and triage staff, first responders: especially police and fire fighters, medical and chemical researchers and scientists, pharmacists, and those they serve in hospital and research facilities working for a cure.
2) For all who live on the streets, all the unemployed, the elderly with health challenges, all those in nursing homes and care facilities, for all those incarcerated, for those in half-way houses, in treatment of any kind
3) For Pope Francis, all the bishops of the world, all priests, all deacons, all lay ministers, all women and men religious, all monastics, chancery staffs, all church volunteers, and their parishioners; all leaders and members of every religion on earth
4) For the leaders of the W.H.O, the C.D.C., all national state and local public health staff all over the world; all restaurant, bar and food venders and all people who work in the food and hotel industry who will be out of work, and those still serving; all those in the manufacturing and transportation industry who help get the supplies and food we need to our stores, for all teachers, students, administrators with and without distance learning, all homeschooled and their instructors
5) For our President, his cabinet, staff, advisors, senators, congress women and men (and all like them in every country), governors, state, county and local leaders all over the world, the United Nations
Right now, I truly believe that people of all religions, though I am a disciple of Jesus and a Catholic, those barely of a religion or of those of no religion, can lift up all who are researching, leading, caring, problem-solving and caretaking in the fight against this COVID-19 virus in prayer. As best as we are able, let's pray for the grace to our Creator God in prayer that we be our very best selves - one human family, compassionate, caring, charitable, kind, selfless, bearing with one another, forgiving one another, merciful and filled with hope, working for the common good. God is ever-present with us and walks with us in Jesus in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Please consider joining with me in this daily rosary for all our sisters and brothers everywhere under the intercession of the Blessed Mother, Undoer of Knots. Perhaps you could share this with others so that many with lift up in prayer those who need it so much.
God bless you with an abundance of grace in this so challenging of times.
Deacon Jim
